How Football clubs make their money in Advertisement

Football must be a pretty good way to advertise your company. We all know that Emirates sponsor Arsenal, AIG sponsor Manchester United, Samsung at Chelsea and Standered Chartered at Liverpool. But did you know that Beko sponsor Watford or Fraser Eagle sponsor Accrington Stanley? Just how much money is to be made by sponsoring or advertising a team outside the top four?
With so much money in the game at this time in England, and almost all of it in the Premier League (with the exception of Queens Park Rangers), companies are falling over themselves to jump on the bandwagon and advertise their products and services through the game. They must think it is worth it because they are spending vast amounts of money in the process.

About Football Advertisements

Football Advertisements - Creating effective and compelling football advertisements: Football advertisement designs often look similar to one another because inexperienced designers often rely heavily on images too often associated with the football industry. Advertisement designers that incorporate clichéd images associated with their customers industry aren't necessarily doing their customers a service. In experienced hands these types of images could enhance a business's image, but in the wrong hands they can have the opposite effect and give the football business a redundant and outdated business identity. Another drawback to this design approach is that it often gives your football advertisement a similar appearance to that of a competitors which will weaken your ability to build a strong brand for your football business and make it that much harder for your football business to stand out from the competition.

Visit to Villa Park

As my personal project is on Advertising and Professionalism in football, because this project is widely based,i decided to sorely base it on my club Aston Villa. To help me with my project i decided it would be a good idea to visit the club during a cup final match for pictures and ideas that i will use within my project.
